Dr. Kenneth A. Bloom > President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Bloom has been the President and CEO of Avenir Technologies since its inception in 2001 and continues in this capacity for the merged company. Previously, Dr. Bloom founded and operated several high tech companies that developed and sold products for the large data center market. He has over 25 years of industry experience in developing and marketing data center products.

Phillip E. Parrish > Chief Financial Officer/Vice President of Operations
Mr. Parrish has served as Chief Financial Officer of Visara International since its formation. Mr. Parrish previously served as Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer of Visara Inc./MTX, Inc. from December 1996 to January 2002. Prior to MTX, Inc., Mr. Parrish was an employee of Memorex Telex for more than ten years, serving as their Chief Financial Officer. He also spent nine years with the Telex Corporation as the Controller.

Bill Phelps > Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Phelps has been Vice President of Engineering since the creation of the Company. Prior to that, Mr. Phelps was an employee of the Matco Electronics Group (MEG) from May 1993, where he held positions of General Manager and Corporate Director of Engineering. Prior to joining MEG, Mr. Phelps was with Memorex Telex where he held positions in the engineering organization. He was most recently Director of Desktop Product Development.

Dan Cody > Vice President of Sales
Mr. Cody was recently promoted to Vice President of Sales, after having been Regional Vice President of Sales of Visara International since its formation in February 2002. Mr. Cody was Vice President of Marketing and CIO of Visara, Inc. and MTX, Inc., since April 1997. Prior to joining the company, He was Senior Project Manager for IBM’s PC Company in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, from 1994 – 1997. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran and a graduate of North Carolina State University’s Electrical Engineering and Computer Science’s Curriculums.
